2 Barrington High School teens in pageant

Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? The answer to that question will be determined 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, when a new Jr. Miss & Miss Teen Illinois-All American, and Mrs. Illinois America is crowned at the Bolingbrook Performing Arts Auditorium in Bolingbrook.

This year both of the pageant productions will be televised.

The Miss Teen is focused on the personal interests of teenagers between the ages 16-19. Both the Teen America and the Mrs. Illinois America will be competing in evening gown, swim wear and personal interview.

Every year is a special milestone for Classic Pageants, contestants, and volunteers. The Mrs. Pageant gives attention to the modern family life, preserving good old-fashioned values. Classic Pageants organizers believe it is important that the American married woman has a showcase for her talents and beauty, and the Mrs. Illinois America Pageant is just that showcase. The Mrs. Illinois America Pageant, And the Miss Teen All-American Pageant honors not only the individual, but the symbolic American woman.

For both pageants each contestant must develop that special quality that will help them succeed not only in this pageant but in their future endeavors.

The hope is that those who attend a production on this scale will not only be entertained but be inspired to look for challenges in their own personal lives.
