Nominations sought for Elk Grove’s Alumni Wall of Achievement

Elk Grove High School is currently accepting nominations for the school’s Alumni Wall of Achievement.

This award is presented annually to graduates, who have demonstrated a high level of achievement in their respective professions and have made significant contributions in their fields of endeavor. Recognition will be given to those individuals who graduated from Elk Grove at least five years ago and exhibit outstanding leadership, character, and service.

The recipients of next year’s award will be honored during Elk Grove’s Homecoming week. They will be recognized at the Homecoming football game and during an after-school reception and Homecoming assembly. Honorees will visit classes, meet students and talk with staff members. As role models to current students, they will stress the importance of setting strong educational and career goals.

Additionally, a plaque listing the honorees’ achievements will be added to the school’s Alumni Wall of Achievement to serve as a shining example of the Grenadier’s rich tradition and a reminder of the graduates who have made a difference, both to their alma mater and the community.

Nomination forms can be found by visiting eghs.d214.org and then clicking the tab “Alumni Resources.” For information call the school at (847) 718-4411. Nominations are accepted at any time and will be held for future consideration.
