Tami Morice scored 17 points, hitting four 3-pointers, to pace the host Warriors past their District 204 rivals in Aurora. Leading 20-11 at half, No. 6 Waubonsie (17-3, 6-2 Upstate Eight Valley) put Metea away with a 16-0 run into the fourth quarter. Rachael Ross added 11 points. For Metea (5-18, 0-8) Lori Obendorf scored 10 points.
