Laser flashes returning Seahawks charter plane

SEATTLE — A laser light flashed the Seahawks charter plane as it approached Sea-Tac Airport on its return from Chicago.

KOMO News says the pilot reported the incident to the FAA about 9 p.m. Sunday as the plane was about two miles from the airport. The plane landed safely.

The person responsible for shining a laser light at a plane could be charged with interference with a flight crew.
