Don't let tyrants ruin Illinois
I keep hearing about good citizens of Illinois who are fed up with their government threatening to move out of state because of the latest bag over the taxpayers' head: the unaffordable tax hikes. I share the frustration.
It's tyranny what's being forced down our throats. It's bad government, and it's destroying our good state.
Neighboring states are salivating over the prospects of businesses being forced out of unaffordable Illinois, welcoming business and citizens into those neighboring states.
But why should we good, law-abiding citizens and businesses of Illinois move? Cowards run away. It's our state, not the corrupt politicians'.
Citizens and businesses running away to another state doesn't resolve anything.
The good citizens and business owners of Illinois simply need to take a stand, repeal these tax hikes or simply refuse to pay these tax hikes and force politicians to make the cuts they've been refusing to make.
We should be demanding our new legislators, not our lame ducks, to be enacting tax-repeal legislation. We should be refusing to pay these tax hikes. Refuse to pay! We should be running out the corrupt politicians, not allowing them to run us out.
Our Founding Fathers ran out the self-serving tyrants, and they must be rolling over in their graves when they hear citizens threatening to just run away from what is rightfully theirs.
Stand up to the tyrants, Illinois! βTo compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.β β Founding Father Thomas Jefferson
