Renewed fluoride debate; no level safe
In response to the report that federal health officials are now debating to lower the amount of fluoride in drinking water from 1.2 parts per million to .7 ppm does not go far enough.
Sodium fluoride, according to its material safety data sheet, accumulates in the body and with repeated exposure can produce target organ and bone damage. OK, so repeated exposure or forced medication in our water supply since the early ‘60s is going to make me healthier? But at least I will have great teeth.
Fluoride is everywhere: in your milk, juices, coffee, soft drinks, beer/wine. It is costly to remove so most producers leave it in the water, so you are probably getting 10-20 times what the U.S. Health and Human Services Department and the EPA are saying is safe. No level is safe; just read the back of your tube of toothpaste.
