Scottie Pippen visits Libertyville sports center

Scottie Pippen, Chicago Bulls Hall of Famer, was in Libertyville this past Sunday watching his son play in a youth basketball tournament at the Indoor Events Center at the Libertyville Sports Complex. Pippen took time to sign some autographs for youngsters in attendance at the tourney.

“I talked to Scottie for a little bit and he was very impressed our facilities at the Libertyville Sports Complex”, said Conrad “Connie” Kowal, Director of Recreation and Sports Complex for the Village of Libertyville. “Scottie was there as a dad watching his son play basketball and cheering him on. Scottie was very kind in signing autographs for young fans, and the kids were very courteous in asking for his autograph, too.”

The Libertyville Sports Complex, www.libertyvillesportscomplex.com, is a multi-purpose sports and events facility, located at the corner of Peterson Road and U.S. Hwy 45 on the northwest side of Libertyville.
