Wheeling Twp. runs on volunteer power
At this time of the year, when we focus on the holiday season, Wheeling Township Senior & Disabilities Department extends our sincere thanks to the many volunteers and donors who make our services possible.
Dedicated volunteers are the strength of our community-based programs, providing time, talents and resources to Meals on Wheels, Friendly Visitor, Caring Caller, SHIP, AARP Safe Driving & Income Tax, Secretary of State Rules of the Road, A-OK, Paint-A-Thon, Senior Advisory & Action Council, Advisory Council on Disabilities, and Make A Difference Day.
Additionally, this year, financial donations exceeding $1,000, supplies, food and personal letters were collected for our military troops.
To the many dedicated volunteers and generous donors, we extend our sincere thanks for your support throughout the year. Sharing your gifts with local senior citizens and persons with disabilities, is a timeless gift that is heartfelt by those whose lives you have touched.
Wishing you a holiday season and New Year, filled with the joy and happiness you have given others.
