Available Bears playoff tickets gone in 6 minutes
If you were hoping to buy a couple of Chicago Bears playoff tickets at list price, you've lost your chance — not that you had much of a chance in the first place.
A limited number of seats went on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Wednesday through Ticketmaster, and promptly disappeared.
Bears spokesman Scot Hagel tells the Chicago Tribune that all the available tickets were gone within four to six minutes.
Those tickets were expensive enough, ranging from $107 to $559. For fans willing to pay more, previously-sold tickets were for sale later Wednesday at several ticket exchanges. They cost from $200 to $2,500.
The NFC North Division champion Bears will open their postseason at Soldier Field at noon Jan. 16. Their opponent is still not known.
