Pre-K info for Fremont schools
Fremont Elementary District 79 will host a kindergarten information night Tuesday, Jan. 11, in the elementary school gymnasium, 28908 North Fremont Center Road, Mundelein.
Registration hours are 6 p.m. for children whose last name begins with A through L, and 7 p.m. for those whose last name begins with M through Z. Any child 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2011 is eligible for kindergarten.
Parents should bring the child's original certified county birth certificate, with the seal affixed (not the hospital copy). A copy will be made for school records and the original will be returned to the parents. Parent new to the district without children currently enrolled will need to bring proof of residency.
