#8216;Shrek' is back on the big screen

See the adventures of the world's best known green ogre, Shrek, his pal Donkey and his true love Princess Fiona in a free screening of the 2001 blockbuster family film #8220;Shrek.#8221; The film is rated PG and runs 90 minutes. Popcorn and other favorite movie snacks will be available for guests to purchase at the theater's cafe.

Last day for Lennon exhibit

Sunday, Jan. 2, is the final day for visitors to see the #8220;Give Peace A Chance: John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Bed-In For Peace#8221; exhibit at the Lake County Discovery Museum. The exhibit features more than 40 large-format photographs taken during the bed-in for peace event staged by John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono in 1969 in Montreal.
