AID to host Bean Bag tournament Feb. 26

The Association for Individual Development invites you to participate in its "Bean Bag Bonanza & Bunco Bash" charity fundraiser. All proceeds from the event will go towards programs and services benefiting children and adults with disabilities in our communities. Join them Saturday, Feb. 26 as they have fun while raising funds to support AID.

Commonly played in backyards and beer gardens, bean bags is a competitive team sport played for pride and bragging rights. On Saturday, Feb. 26, join a round-robin style bean bags tournament. Winners have a shot at more than just bragging rights in this competition; prizes will be awarded to the top three teams at the end of the tournament with a grad prize of $200 in cash.

To register, visit www.the-association.org. There is a $40 registration fee per team.

Not a fan of bean bags? Join them for a rousing game of bunco! Simultaneously taking place alongside the Bean Bags tournament, Bunco is an exciting dice game that is easy to learn and fun to play. Participants have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the game by rolling a bunco or by finishing as one the top two players. There is a $10 entry fee for anyone interested in playing with all proceeds going towards programs and services benefiting children and adults with disabilities at the Association for Individual Development.

Sponsorships are available for the 2011 "Bean Bag Bonanza & Bunco Bash." Varying levels of sponsorship are available to best suite your interests. For more information and details on sponsorship opportunities available, visit www.the-association.org or call Wendy at (847) 931-2294.
