A sure way to check for explosives
I have the solution to the touchy feely problem at airports around the country. Why not use bomb buckets like bomb and arson units use to detonate explosives safely? A people-size bucket could be used at all check-in areas. Passengers could step into it, and operators could push a few buttons that would detonate any explosive material.
I'm sure anyone who had bad intentions would hesitate if they thought they would explode without achieving their mission. Of course, there would have to be two of these enclosures . . . if one had to be cleaned up in the unlikely event of an explosion, the other would ensure minimal delays.
