Energy company moving HQ to Lisle
Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn has announced that SunCoke Energy plans to move its corporate headquarters to suburban Chicago.
SunCoke, a subsidiary of Sunoco, Inc., will invest $6.6 million to relocate from Knoxville, Tenn., to Lisle.
Quinn says the state of Illinois will provide a $4.8 million business investment package.
The governor estimates the project will create 105 jobs.
SunCoke plans to move its headquarters after separating from Sunoco in 2011.
SunCoke has a manufacturing facility in Granite City in southern Illinois that employs 110 people.
