Longtime Streamwood trustee seeking seventh term

Streamwood Village Trustee James P. Cecile will seek a seventh term on the village board, joining two other candidates this morning to file nominating petitions to have their names placed on the April 5 ballot.

Also filing were fellow incumbent Trustee Guy A. Patterson, who'll be running for a second term on the board, and Mary F. Thon, a member of the village's Community Relations Commission.

Trustee Jason Speer, the third board member whose seat is up for election next year, did not file for re-election this morning, but has until the end of the filing period on Monday, Dec. 20.
