Advocate Condell president joins American Cancer Society Leadership Board

Advocate Condell Medical Center President Ann Errichetti, MD, MBA, has been elected a member of the Regional Leadership Board of the Lake County Region of the Illinois Division of the American Cancer Society. Dr. Errichetti, of Lincolnshire, will provide leadership and support for the Society's core mission of research, education, advocacy and patient services.

“I am looking forward to partnering with the American cancer Society and its mission to improve the quality of lives for cancer patients and the health of the community through prevention and education,” Dr. Errichetti said.

In addition to her role as Advocate Condell's president, Dr. Errichetti is the Chief Academic Officer for Oak Brook-based Advocate Health Care. She joined Advocate Condell in 2009 after serving three years as President of Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest.

From fundraising events like Rely For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Advocate Condell employees have supported breast cancer prevention and research. The Libertyville-based hospital is a designated American Cancer Society Patient Resource Center that links families with the many resources the Society has to offer. The medical center also offers the Society's Look Good…Feel Better program at various times during the year.

“Dr. Errichetti's tremendous leadership skills will be invaluable on our Board,” said Carol Ruderman, regional director for the Lake County Region of the American Cancer Society. “The society is grateful for the support of Dr. Errichetti and the medical center staff. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Advocate Condell.”
