Kane to miss 3 weeks with sprained ankle
Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said Tuesday he is hoping to have Patrick Kane back in the lineup in about three weeks.
Kane suffered a sprained left ankle in Sunday's win over Calgary, although the Hawks refused Tuesday to provide details of the injury.
“Kaner is probably going to be out upwards of three weeks,” Quenneville said. “We're hoping that's the maximum.
“We're going to leave it as a lower body (injury), but I think you can speculate what it is. Certainly that's the extent of it and he's progressing right now.”
Marian Hossa (lower body) and Fernando Pisani (upper body) didn't practice Tuesday, meaning the quickest they could return is this weekend.
