Crystal Lake Jaycees Share-A-Christmas Families Ready for Adoption

For the last 50 years, the Crystal Lake Jaycees have organized a holiday project that assists underprivileged families in the community. It has truly touched everyone involved in this annual project. The goal of the project this year is to assist those families that until this year may not have sought assistance before. These can be your neighbors who have been looking for work due to the economic downturn and now heard that their unemployment benefits end. They may need to make a choice of paying the mortgage or having a presents under the tree. This can be the acquaintance that has mounting medical bills, or a friend that recently lost a loved one.

This year, the Crystal Lake Jaycees have 33 families with 82 children available for adoption. There are different levels for adoption depending on how many family members you would like to adopt. Crystal, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels are available from minimum suggested donations of $50 to $250. To see the families eligible for adoption, please visit the Crystal Lake Jaycees Share-A Christmas website at www.cljaycees.org/sac and click on Adopt a Family. Once registered, you will be contacted with your adoptees wish list and drop off location.

Unable to make such a large commit this year but still would like to help? Consider a monetary donation. All monies collected will be used toward children who were not adopted. You can donate directly through the website or mail in a donation at PO Box 7, Crystal Lake, IL 60039.
