Man robs Schaumburg bank at gunpoint
Schaumburg police are searching for a man who held up a Schaumburg bank tonight.
A man with a blue bandanna over his face, and armed with a black handgun, robbed the Parkway Bank at 1600 North Roselle Road about 6 p.m. before fleeing on foot, police confirmed.
The man displayed the handgun when he entered the bank and demanded cash, said Schaumburg police Sgt. John Nebl.
The robber is described as a white man standing 6 foot, 1 inch tall
Schaumburg detectives are on the scene of the bank and have contacted the FBI to assist with the investigation.
