Schaumburg High School students win writing award
Two juniors at Schaumburg High School, Natalie Baldino and Kaitlyn Fuchs, have been honored for their writing ability.
To encourage high school students in their writing and to publicly recognize some of the nation's best student writers, the National Council of Teachers of English established the “Achievement Award in Writing.” It is the most prestigious national writers' recognition for high school juniors.
The two were honored for winning the award at the Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 board meeting.
