Favre: Foot feels 'OK,' arm 'a little more alive'
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Brett Favre insists he hasn't been any more energized recently than earlier this year.
Favre passed for a career-high 446 yards in the overtime win over Arizona last Sunday that might have saved Minnesota's season. Some of his teammates said after the game they saw an extra edge from Favre last week.
But Favre says those remarks would've been different had the Vikings lost. Favre did say he felt like his arm was "a little more alive" in practice after sitting out the previous Wednesday.
This Wednesday, Favre was taking it easy again. He said his foot feels "OK" and is still swollen. He said he tries to stay off it as much as he can.
Minnesota plays at Chicago this week. Favre says he's optimistic the Vikings can build off last week's comeback.
