Wheaton Resident Earns Outstanding Achievement Alumni Award

[NAPERVILLE, ILL.] Wheaton resident Craig D. Farnsworth was recently recognized by his alma mater, Ball State University, with an Award of Outstanding Achievement from the university's alumni association.

Farnsworth graduated with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, summa cum laude, from the university in 1986. He is a landscape architect for Hitchcock Design Group, based in Naperville. The senior associate is a member of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), a national professional society that represents the landscape architecture profession.

He is one of five distinguished alumni honored by the university in the Oct. 29 ceremony. As part of the school's Alumni Day and Symposium, Farnsworth was invited to give a presentation on planning and landscape architecture to university students.

As a Hitchcock Design Group project designer, Farnsworth has collaborated on a number of higher education projects. His local clients include Oliver Nazarene University, Northwestern University and College of DuPage.
