Where do we go to surrender?

Great Britain to cut public payroll by 500,000 and ask other workers to accept less pay and less hours. France to change pensions and reduce public employment.

Illinois retired teachers are the new “fat cats” who are ruining it for everyone. Social security, we are told, is too generous. Wall Street bonus estimate for 2010: $144 billion. U.S. companies sit on $3 trillion cash, will not hire nor will they increase existing wages.

Google pays effective tax rate of 2.4 percent on $6.7 billion in revenue. Top 1 percent increases wealth during the recession. The rich have won. The “laser focus” on jobs will cause thousands of U.S. public jobs to be eliminated. If we even think of raising revenue (taxes) the international capitalists will take their jobs and move them to Bangladesh or Vietnam.

They will probably move them anyway unless we bribe them with even lower tax rates. The “class war” is over. The rich have won. Where do we go to surrender?
