Hanover Township opens emergency facility

Hanover Township will hold a dedication ceremony celebrating a new facility for its Emergency Services Unit at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at the station, 218 Main St., Bartlett. The station will be used for vehicle storage and directing of field operations.

State Rep. Randy Ramey, Cook County Commissioner Tim Schneider, Hanover Township Supervisor Brian McGuire and others will speak at the event. Andrew Velasquez III, the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Midwest Regional Administrator, will present a keynote address.
