GlenOaks hires Lombard woman for pastoral care

Lombard resident Shari Chamberlain is the new pastoral care manager at Adventist GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights.

She comes to the job from Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Md., where she spent a year filling in for a professor on sabbatical as a personal health and wellness instructor. Before that she worked in various pastoral care positions at health care facilities across the United States. Twenty-four years ago she was on staff at the Hinsdale Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Chamberlain replaces DeLora Hagen, who retired after 12 years at Adventist Midwest Health.
