Predators place D Suter on IR with injured leg
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Predators have placed defenseman Ryan Suter on injured reserve after he hurt his leg in a collision with Calgary defenseman Cory Sarich.
Suter was hurt Tuesday night in the first period of a 1-0 overtime loss to Calgary when they collided in front of the Predators' bench. The Predators placed Suter on injured reserve Wednesday, and they hope the U.S. Olympian can start skating Monday and return for their game Oct. 28.
The Predators also activated forward Jamie Lundmark of injured reserve and sent him to Milwaukee in the AHL.
