Bean deserves another term

I am writing to express my support for Congresswoman Melissa Bean. During her three terms in Congress she has consistently worked on behalf of her constituents, notably in the area of economic growth and support for small businesses. An example of this is the Small Business Lending Fund Act, which was co-authored by Congresswoman Bean and signed into law by President Obama on Sept. She also supported the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, health care reform and the economic stimulus.

In particular, I admire her commitment to the people of the 8th District, as demonstrated by frequent meetings with constituents, local leaders and business owners to hear their concerns and talk with them about the issues. Congresswoman Bean is endorsed for re-election by the Chicago Tribune and the Sun-Times, as well as the Northwest Herald, the Daily Herald and the Lake County News-Sun. She has earned the support of her constituents and the opportunity to continuing serving the 8th District as its representative in Congress.
