'Gypsy' coming to Cutting Hall in Palatine through Nov. 7

“Gypsy" is coming to Cutting Hall in Palatine for several weekends beginning today.

The famous musical is being reprised in an LZP Productions performance weekends from Oct. 23 through Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays at 150 E. Wood St.

This classic musical follows the dreams and efforts of Gypsy Rose Lee to raise two daughters to perform onstage and casts an affectionate eye on the hardships of show business life. It is considered one of the greatest American musicals by numerous critics and writers.

The score includes such well known songs as “Everything's Coming Up Roses, “You Gotta Get a Gimmick, “Let Me Entertain You, and “Together Wherever We Go.
