Pops concert Oct. 30 at Wheeling HS

Wheeling High School will present its popular annual Pops concert on Saturday, Oct. 30, aptly named “The Night Before Halloween. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the gym.

The concert will include three numbers by Wheeling's award-winning Jazz Band, under the direction of Brian Logan. Performances by the Symphony Orchestra, directed by Sarah Yun, will include music from “Harry Potter and “Phantom of the Opera.

The concert choir will also be performing a number, as well as the a cappella group, “Caught off Guard, and the a cappella guys' group, “Acoustic Nerve. The choral director is Kirstin Snelten.
