Woodfield plans Halloween 'Spooktacular'

Grammy-nominated children's entertainer Dave Rudolph will bring his Halloween “Spooktacular to Woodfield Shopping Center for Club Kidfield's 4th annual Halloween Bash at 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 29.

The free event will be held in the mall's lower level Lord & Taylor Court, with check-in beginning at 9 a.m.

A two-time Parents' Choice Award winner, Rudolph promises to engage young goblins in an interactive show of seasonal songs and stories. Children will be invited to join in Rudolph's Frankenstein Dance and Ghostly Ghoul Limbo, and strut their stuff for prizes in the perennially popular Club Kidfield Costume Contest.

Costume contest prizes will be awarded for most original costume, best impersonation of a favorite character, and scariest costume. There will also be Halloween-themed games, and complimentary goody bags for all Club Kidfield members.
