Lions wideout Burleson fined $15K for celebration

NEW YORK -- The NFL has fined Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson $15,000 for two rule violations.

The league confirmed Thursday that Burleson was fined for kicking the football into the stands and displaying an unauthorized shirt with a personal message written on it.

Burleson was celebrating his touchdown reception in Detroit's 44-6 win over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
