The Bridge has fundraising walk

The Bridge Youth & Family Services will hold the annual Bridge the Gap Walk on Saturday, Oct. 16. The three-mile walk will start and end at the District 15 building, 580 N. 1st Bank Drive, Palatine, IL 60067) near the Palatine Public Library.

Registration is $20 for adults, $5 for children through 6th grade and $10 for grades 7-12. Walkers raising at least $50 in pledges will get a T-shirt. Register in advance at bridgeyouth.org/walk or at (847) 359-7490 to avoid long lines the day of the event.

Funds raised will support the programs of The Bridge: child and family counseling, crisis intervention for runaway and locked-out teens and mentoring for at-risk youth.
