Police searching for Schaumburg father and son

Police are searching for a Schaumburg father who picked up his infant son from day care Wednesday afternoon and has not been seen since.

Chris Miller, 29, picked up his 3½-month-old son and was supposed to take him to a doctor's appointment. The doctor later told Miller's wife they had never made it to the appointment, according to police.

Miller's wife told police that it appeared that Chris Miller had taken a large amount of milk and diapers with him enough for the rest of the day, police said.

The two are likely driving in a 2003 black Volkswagen Beetle with Illinois license plate L324339 and may be headed to his family home in Louisville, Ky., according to police.

“Right now it's just a well-being check, Schaumburg Sgt. John Nebel said.

Nebel said the two are married and there have been no domestic issues in their past.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Schaumburg Police Department at (847) 882-3586.
