Barrington HS hosts Barrage

The nationally acclaimed string group, Barrage, will perform and put on a workshop for young musicians Thursday, Oct. 7 at Barrington High School.

The concert, sponsored by the McHenry County Youth Orchestras, begins at 7 p.m. String players from MCYO and selected string players from the Barrington area schools will work with the Barrage music director before the concert and then perform with the group.

Barrage has conducted workshops around the country to demonstrate the versatility of string instruments beyond a classical orchestral setting.
