Two flu clinics offered Tuesdaybull; McHenry County Department of Health will offer FluMist, an intranasal form of the flu vaccine, to children age 2 and older at its flu clinic from 8:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 100 N Virginia St., Crystal Lake. Medicaid is accepted. For nonMedicaid children, the cost is $15. Parents must bring current immunization records as well as any documentation of H1N1 vaccine received in 2009. Shots will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis and will cost $25 each. Pneumonia flu shots will also be available and will cost $45. (Cash or check only; Medicare not accepted).
