GOP 'Pledge' didn't go far enough

I'm a conservative Republican, and I think that the Pledge to America that was written by Republican congressional leaders isn't good enough.

It only includes U.S. House candidates, and it should have included U.S. Senate candidates. It should have said that, if Republicans regain control of both houses of Congress, they'll pass about five bills, including cutting all federal tax rates to the 1988 rates.

That promise would remind voters of the good economy of the 1980s, when our country had low unemployment rates and low inflation rates.

The pledge should also promise that Congress would repeal all federal laws that mention health care, since those laws violate the 10th Amendment.
