Packers' Zombo fined $7,500 for hit on Cutler

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Frank Zombo says he was fined $7,500 by the NFL for his hit on Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler on Monday night.

And for an undrafted free agent making $320,000 this season, that's not chump change.

Zombo was called for roughing the passer after making contact with Cutler's helmet on a hit in the fourth quarter. The penalty wiped out an interception by linebacker Nick Barnett and helped the Bears drive for a game-tying field goal.

Zombo says he didn't disagree with the call, but said the penalty was the result of his aggressive play. Zombo is expected to start Sunday's game against Detroit.

As for the fine, he says, "It's going to hurt."
