Blackhawks trim roster to 31

The Blackhawks have assigned forward Hugh Jessiman to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs and returned forward Ludvig Rensfeldt to his junior club, Brynas IF, in Sweden.

Chicago's training camp roster now stands at 31 active players, which includes 17 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goaltenders. An updated training camp roster is attached.

The Blackhawks next preseason game is on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 6 p.m. when they visit the Pittsburgh Penguins at Consol Energy Center.
