Outlook: Bartlett owns a 6-3 advantage in this series since joining the Upstate Eight in 1998. The Hawks only turned the ball over once last week and the offense thrived as a result. Junior quarterback A.J. Bilyeu completed 13-of-18 passes for 277 yards and 2 touchdown. He also ran for 69 yards and a score. Senior tight end Russell Martin made 6 catches for 126 yards and a touchdowns and junior Zach Karys had 4 receptions for 99 yards and a TD. "We're getting better," Hawks coach Tom Meaney said. "Our quarterback is getting more confidence. He's able to run now and is making better decisions with the ball. We're coming together." Defensively, the Hawks have allowed just 52 points (13 avg.), second in the Upstate Eight's Valley Division only to South Elgin (51). Junior linebacker Tyler Hess will miss this game with an injury. Lake Park has been outscored 127-27.
