$24,000 in merchandise taken during Naperville Apple store heist
More than $24,000 in merchandise was stolen during an early morning break-in Wednesday at Naperville's downtown Apple store.
Sgt. Gregg Bell said an officer on patrol at 4:49 a.m. discovered the glass entry to the store at 120 W. Jefferson Ave. had been shattered and an alarm was activated. Police searched the store and contacted employees.
Bell said investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the store as part of their investigation.
Crime Stoppers has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call (630) 420-6006.
