Elginbull; Nolan P. Sinnott, 18, of the 1200 block of Red Oak Court, Elgin, was arrested and charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 12:32 a.m. Tuesday at Bent Street and Willard Avenue, reports said. Sinnott, who also received a citation for failure to signal, is due in court on Nov. 9, reports said.bull; Someone slashed the two driver's side tires on a vehicle in the 300 block of DuPage Court between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday, reports said.bull; Someone climbed to the roof of a vacant business in the 600 block of Church Road between Saturday and Monday and damaged the skylights and air conditioning unit, reports said.bull; An Acer laptop computer and Nintendo DS hand-held game were stolen between 8:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday from a residence in the 400 block of Park Street, reports said.bull; Jacob N. Munoz, 51, who is homeless, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting a peace officer at 3:52 p.m. Monday at McDonald's, 816 St. Charles St., reports said.bull; Someone entered the front window of a residence in the 700 block of Canyon Lane between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday and stole a Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 game system, reports said.bull; Keith W. Cherniak, 52, who is homeless, was arrested and charged with theft of services, resisting arrest and assault at 9:15 p.m. Monday in the 0-99 block of Longwood Place, reports said. Cherniak refused to pay a cabbie $8.25 and told the cabdriver he had a gun, reports said. Cherniak was not armed, report said.bull; Someone stole a subwoofer, speakers, an iPod, leather jacket and bag from an unlocked 1994 Ford Tempo in the 900 block of Annandale Drive between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, reports said.bull; A man grabbed three cartons of Newport 100s cigarettes, a value of $174, and ran out the door at the CVS Pharmacy, 800 Dundee Ave., at 6:55 p.m. Monday, reports said.South Elginbull; A Louis Vuitton belt, wallet, iTouch and purse, a total value of $1,585, were reported stolen from an unlocked 2005 Cadillac Escalade in the 400 block of East Thornwood Drive at 12:30 a.m. Friday, reports said.bull; James Hernandez, 35, of the 100 block of Carla Drive, South Elgin, was arrested and charged with battery at 5:35 p.m. Saturday after an altercation in the 600 block of North Water Street, reports said.bull; A camera, iPod, and Garmin GPS were stolen between 7 p.m. Sept. 8 and 12:04 p.m. Sept. 10 from a vehicle with its windows cracked open in the 0-99 block of South Linden Court, reports said.Lake in the Hillsbull; Police arrested four people in connection with numerous motor vehicle burglaries that occurred early Sunday morning in Lake in the Hills, police said. The following were charged with two counts of burglary to a motor vehicle, possession of burglary tools and theft: Jeremy R. Stanfield, 19, of the 200 block of East Palmer Avenue, Northlake; Liannah J. Gagnon, 17, of the 100 block of Woodland Court, Carpentersville; Joe R. Schultz, 19, of the 1800 block of North 37th Avenue, Stone Park; and Michael J. Mehlman, 20, of the 9700 block of Gallek Road, Fox River Grove. Police apprehended the suspects at 12:17 a.m. in the 5300 block of Briarfield Lane, on a report of a man in someone's garage, police said. Officers arrested the three other people six minutes after they'd left the scene, police said.
