Dist. 59 invites special ed parents to meeting
Elk Grove Township Elementary District 59's Special Education Parent Network will hold a meet and greet on Sept. 29 to introduce the district's new executive director of educational services, Val Gudgeon.
Parents, staff and community members are invited to share ideas on special services, early childhood programs, health issues, Section 504, speech/language services, counseling, Response to Intervention, and special education parent rights. The program is 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at Rupley School, 305 E. Oakton St., Elk Grove Village.
Pizza and refreshments will be served; baby-sitting provided and raffle prizes are included. Spanish translation will be available.
