Dist. 15 must release letter

Palatine Township Elementary District 15 must release a section of former Superintendent Dan Lukich's separation agreement that it blocked from view in a Freedom of Information Act request by the Daily Herald, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan's office said Tuesday.

In July, the district didn't release a letter of reference in the separation agreement, citing an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy. The Attorney General's office wrote District 15 failed to meet that burden, saying the agreement doesn't contain any highly personal information.
