Bolingbrook man found shot in head dies

A Bolingbrook man found shot in the head earlier this week has died, officials from the Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed Friday.

Mikyal L. Green, 20, of Bolingbrook, was found in the 100 block of Flagstaff Drive just before 8 p.m Thursday, police said.

He was taken to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital before being transferred via helicopter to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.

He was pronounced dead at 10:36 p.m., a medical examiner's spokeswoman said.

Bolingbrook police were not immediately available for comment.
