Mount Prospect remembers 9/11

Mount Prospect Fire and Police Departments will hold a Sept. 11 Remembrance Ceremony to honor those who lost their lives nine years ago at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, on the Village Green in front of Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson.

The public is invited to attend.

The program will include a bell and bagpiper ceremony and members of the American Legion and VFW will be present.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will take place in the Village Hall Community Center.
