Several stores moving into area

VERNON HILLS - Discovery Clothing, a value-priced clothing retailer for women and juniors, signed a 14,826-square-foot lease at the Rivertree Court shopping center, located at 701 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Vernon Hills. The clothing company continues to grow with 25 locations in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. In other activity, at Hawthorn Village Commons, at Lakeview Parkway and East Townline Road in Vernon Hills, Salon GC, a beauty salon, signed a 1,609-square-foot lease. European Gourmet Restaurant also leased 2,000 square feet at Hawthorn Village Commons. At Woodland Commons, located on Half Day Road and Buffalo Grove Road in Buffalo Grove, Stilettos Inc., a local retailer offering designer women's dress shoes, signed a 1,653-square-foot lease. Papa John's Pizza also recently leased 1,244 square feet at Woodland Commons.
