Used oil collection SaturdayA used motor oil collection will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Kane County Highway Department garage, west of St. Charles at Burlington and Empire roads. Used oil will be accepted in any quantity at no charge. Oil filters will also be accepted for recycling. Empty containers (milk jugs, etc.) will be accepted at the site for disposal. Marklund is a nonprofit network of services for infants, children and adults with severe developmental disabilities. The free family-oriented festival is for the public as well as Marklund clients, their friends and relatives. Hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza will be sold.
