Lee DeWyze banners and DVDs for sale

So you call yourself a Lee DeWyze fan.

In honor of Lee's homecoming Saturday night at the United Center, why not pick up a Lee DeWyze banner or DVD? Mount Prospect is selling them on the village's website, mountprospect.org and at village hall, 50 S. Emerson St.

Fans can shell out $100 for a large 30-inch by 72-inch banner or $50 for a smaller banner. Photo collages cost $15 and a small poster is $12.

For $15, you can pick up a "Lee Comes Home" DVD which features shots from the Hometown Parade, Lee Singing "The Boxer" at Arlington Park and bonus footage from the American Idol finale viewing party on the Mount Prospect Village Green.

So far, the village has sold 41 small banners, 23 large banners and 18 DVDs. All proceeds go back to the village's general fund, said Mount Prospect spokeswoman Maura El Metennani.
