Hearing on PACE service reductions
PACE, the Regional Transportation Authority's suburban division, will conduct a public hearing about service reductions on Route 209 (Busse Highway), Route 240 (Dee Road) and Route 241 (Greenwood-Talcott Avenue) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Park Ridge Public Library, 20 S. Prospect Ave.
Busse Highway weekday midday service is proposed to go from every 30 minutes to every 60 minutes, and Saturday service from every 30 minutes to every 40 minutes; and weekday midday service may be discontinued for Dee Road and Greenwood-Talcott Avenue.
Written comments may be submitted to PACE, Government Affairs, 550 W. Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005 or sent to pacebus.com via the "Public Hearing Comment Form" before the hearing.
