Wauconda's Liberty Square shopping center sold

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation's Investment Sales Group announced the recent sale of Liberty Square shopping center in Wauconda.

Liberty Square was sold for $15.2 million in an all cash transaction to Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust based in Farmington Hills, Mich. The seller was Dallas-based Fritz Duda Co.

The 107,369-square-foot community shopping center is located on the northeast corner of routes 12 and 176. It is grocery-anchored by Jewel-Osco and complemented by a mix of national tenants including National City Bank, KFC, Subway, United States Postal Service, Hallmark, Fantastic Sam's, Blockbuster Video and GNC.

Mid-America says its seeing a lot of equity beginning to enter the market that spent 2009 and early 2010 on the sidelines.
